Who Are We?
The name Numisma is derived from the Greek word for currency, νÏŒμισμα (no-mis-ma), and our shared passion of Numismatics - from which Numisma Rare Coins was born. We strive to provide quality examples of a wide range of U.S. & World coins, and a shopping experience that develops longstanding relationships with our customers. Extraordinary or above average examples of many collector coins are hard to find from a trusted source. After years collecting, we have seen a widening gap between large wholesalers using stock images, and high-end specialty coin retailers with 5 figure price tags. While large retailers can offer graded examples at a good price, the buyer often does not see the exact coin they will receive.
